SWG RRD
“SWG” stands for Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group and is an International Intergovernmental Organization, consisted of governmental institutions responsible for rural development in respective countries and territories of South Eastern Europe. SWG The SWG is working to empower and promote sustainable principles on agriculture and rural development, through networking and permanent cooperation between all stakeholders of agriculture and rural development in SEE region. We act in a spirit of friendship and good neighborliness and enhance mutual respect and confidence, dialogue and cooperation among the Member Institutions. We operate as a regional agency for promoting sustainable agriculture and rural development through initiation, preparation and implementation of regional projects in South Eastern Europe.

Traditional Mowing on Rajac and 1st International Conference: “Public events – way to develop and recognize the rural areas”,15 – 17 July , 2011, Ljig, Serbia

SWG supported the Regional Center for development of villages “MOBA” from Serbia to organize the Traditional 39th event “Mowing on Rajac” within which the First International Conference entitled: “Public events – way to develop and recognize the rural areas” was held on July 16th.

Technical discussion: ”Wine trade markets – opportunities for the region of South-East Europe”, 11-12 May, 2011, Kutjevo, Croatia

More than 20 participants, representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture from the wine sector, representatives of national associations of wine producers, representatives of wine roads and representatives of wineries, all from South- East Europe gathered together in Kutjevo, Croatia to discuss about the opportunities to approach various wine trade markets.

“Networking between the Green and Wholesale markets from the Western Balkan countries”, 28-29 March , 2011, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
